The dairy consists of over 1,850 cows, mostly Holsteins, and a few crossbreds including Swedish Red, and Montbeliarde. Our 4500+ Acre Large Dairy Operation is often looking for employees to fill full-time and part-time positions in our dairy and agronomy operations.

BABY CALF SPECIALIST / SORRY POSITION FILLED
Description: WORK WITH BABY CALVES! IS YOUR PASSION FARMING AND WORKING WITH ANIMALS? Gar-Lin Dairy LLC near Eyota, MN has an opening in our calf specialist team member who will be responsible for maximizing the growth rate and health of our calves while minimizing morbidity and mortality from birth to four months of age... We are a 3rd generation, the family-owned and operated dairy farm currently is milking 1750 cows with 1650 replacement heifers. We also farm 4,100 acres with a full line of equipment for planting and harvest. We foster an environment of personal and professional improvement.

FEEDING TECHNICIAN / SORRY POSITION FILLED
Description: The feeding technician opening is for a full-time feeder to mix and deliver feed to the milking herd and replacements. This position is part of 5 person team that is responsible for critically important operations of feed storage, feeding, maintenance, deliveries, and feed inventory that support the dairy herd. The individual in this position has an important and rewarding responsibility of providing for the nutrient needs of the dairy herd. This person needs to have acute attention to detail to help in bringing the herd to the next level.
